Getting around the app
The sidebar groups, every button in the header, the Help "?" button, the assistant, and how the app looks on a phone.
The OmniBrand app is everything you reach after logging in (every address that starts with /app). Every screen sits in the same frame: a header along the top, a sidebar down the side (on the left in English, on the right in Arabic), and on a phone a bar along the bottom. This article explains each part of that frame. The first address you land on is Today.
The sidebar
The sidebar groups the screens by what you are doing. You only see the entries your role allows: a screen you cannot use is hidden, not shown and then refused.
- Home: Today (what needs you now). See The Today page.
- Create: Create, AI Studio, Content, Media, Library, Campaigns (one goal that groups posts, broadcasts and ads). Right under it, Broadcasts (one message sent to many people on one channel): WhatsApp broadcasts, Email broadcasts, Messenger broadcasts, Instagram broadcasts, Telegram broadcasts.
- Publish: Calendar, Queues, Approvals, Records. When posts are waiting for your approval, a number appears next to Approvals (a dot when the sidebar is folded); it refreshes every minute.
- Engage: Inbox, Team, Contacts, Leads, Bookings, Inbox bots.
- Measure: Analytics, Dashboard, Market Watch, Monitor.
- Set up: Accounts, Brand, Workspaces, Settings, Help and guides (opens this manual).
The button with three lines at the far start of the header folds the sidebar down to icons, or opens it again with labels. The sidebar starts folded; the app remembers your choice in this browser. When it is folded, point at an icon to see its name.
Who sees which entries
- Agent (inbox only): only Inbox, Team, Bookings, Inbox bots, Accounts (to add the mailbox they answer from) and Help and guides, plus Your account. Opening any other address sends an Agent back to the Inbox.
- Create, AI Studio, Campaigns, Media, Library and Queues need permission to create content (Owner, Admin and Editor have it by default).
- Approvals needs permission to approve (Owner, Admin and Reviewer by default).
- Market Watch and Monitor need market access (every role except Agent by default).
- Settings shows for Owners and Admins only. Brand shows for them and for anyone who can create content (Editors by default). Accounts shows for Owners, Admins and anyone who can reply in the Inbox.
Roles are explained in Roles and inviting your team.
The header, from start to end
- Logo: the OmniBrand logo, or your own logo if an administrator uploaded one in Settings. Click it to go back to Today (an Agent goes to the Inbox).
- Workspace switcher: a drop-down showing the active workspace. Pick another workspace to switch; the page reloads inside that workspace. The last option, + Create, opens Workspaces, where a new workspace is added. On a phone the switcher is inside the menu drawer.
- Search…: searches the active workspace for content items (by title or caption), campaigns and media files. Type at least 2 characters and wait a moment; move through the results with the arrow keys and press Enter, or click one. Not shown to Agents.
- Create: opens Create to write a new post. Shown only if you may create content.
- ? (Help for this page): opens a panel with the manual article for the screen you are on, without leaving it. Below the article: Was this helpful? with Yes and No (tells us whether the article worked), Also about this page (other articles about the same screen; click one to read it in the panel), Ask the assistant about this page (opens the assistant with the article title already typed) and Open in the help centre (the full article on its own page, for example /help/start-navigation, in a new tab).
- Moon / sun: switches between dark and light mode. Until you click it the app follows your device's setting; after that your choice is remembered in this browser.
- Bell: your latest notifications. See Notifications.
- Your initials (the account menu): shows your name, email and organisation, then Your account, Settings (not shown to Agents) and Log out.
The assistant
The round button in the bottom corner opens Maroja, OmniBrand's assistant. It answers only from this manual and links to the articles it used. Type your question in Ask a question… and press Send. If you need a person, Ask a person lets you leave your name and work email (phone and company are optional) so a colleague follows up; No thanks closes that form. On a phone the round button is hidden on the Inbox and AI Studio screens, because both have their own box for typing at the bottom.
On a phone
- The three-line button in the header opens the whole menu as a drawer: the workspace switcher, search, every group, and at the bottom your name, email and Log out. Tap outside the drawer or the ✕ to close it.
- A bar along the bottom keeps Today, Create, Calendar and Inbox one tap away. You see the ones your role allows; if only one would be left (an Agent), the bar is hidden.
The app's language
The app has its own language, separate from the public website's. Change it on Your account under Language; Owners and Admins also find it in Settings under General. See Choosing your language.
Banners and pop-ups you may see
- "Your account is waiting for approval. Publishing and AI are locked until then." An account on a paid plan that is not paid yet (a free account is active from sign-up). Click the banner to pay or to finish the setup steps; see First payment for a paid plan.
- "Your subscription has not been paid, so publishing and editing are paused..." Pay under Settings, Billing and everything comes back.
- "This account is suspended..." Contact the OmniBrand team; see Contacting support.
- A pop-up when a plan limit is reached, with See plans & upgrade. See Plans.
If something goes wrong
- "Couldn't load your workspaces": the app could not reach the server to pick your active workspace. Check your connection and click Retry.
- An entry you expect is missing from the sidebar: your role does not include it. Ask an Owner or Admin of the workspace to change your role or access under Settings, Members.
- Whatever you open, you land on the Inbox: your role in this workspace is Agent (inbox only).
- The Help panel says "There is no dedicated article for this page yet": ask the assistant, or open the full manual with Help and guides.
