The Today page and first-time setup

Today (/app/today) is the first screen after you log in, and the logo in the header always brings you back. Its heading is today's date; under it: "What needs you today, and what the accounts did while you were away." and "Times in {your time zone}." Every time on this page is in your device's time zone. Everyone except an Agent sees it; what each card shows depends on the active workspace.

The buttons at the top

• Set up: walks you through the four setup steps again (see below), even in a workspace that is already in use.
• Create a post: opens Create.

The cards

• Connect your first account (only while the workspace has no account): "OmniBrand publishes through the accounts you connect." Connect an account opens Accounts.
• Publishing today: how many posts are on today's calendar, "{n} done · {n} to go", and " · next at {time}" for the next one. "Nothing scheduled for today" when empty.
• Waiting for approval: posts waiting in approvals. Click the card to open Approvals. "Nothing waiting" when there are none.
• Needs a fix: how many posts failed to publish, with the latest error. "No failed posts" when there are none; "Ask an administrator" when your role cannot see the failures.
• Today's timeline: "{n} posts across {n} accounts": each post of the day in time order with its time, title (click to open the content item), account, status, and Open ↗ to see it on the platform once published. A green dot is published; yellow is still to go; red failed. Empty: "Nothing on the timeline".
• Needs a fix list ("Posts that could not be published. Fix the cause, then retry."): each failed post with its caption, the error, the account and when. Retry queues it again (Owners and Admins who may publish). Members who cannot retry see "Can be retried - ask an owner or admin" instead of the button.
• Approved, not scheduled: approved posts with no publishing time yet (up to 6 shown), with Open calendar to give them a time.
• Account health: every connected account with a badge: Healthy, Renew soon (with "token expires in ..."), or Reconnect. "{n} of {n} left this hour" shows how many more posts the platform accepts in the current hour. Manage opens Accounts.
• Last 7 days ("Reach across all accounts"): one bar per day (today highlighted; point at a bar for "{day}: {n} impressions"), the week's reach and engagements (likes, comments and shares), and a link to Analytics.

Step by step: the setup wizard

The wizard opens by itself in a workspace that has no account and no content yet - on Accounts, where a new account lands, and on Today - and again whenever you click Set up on Today. Its steps are Connect, Brand, Generate and Publish. Skip (top) closes it for this workspace; every step can be skipped. 1. Connect ("Connect your first account"): click a platform. For most platforms a sign-in window opens ("Waiting for a connection…"); approve access there and your account appears. Platforms that need a username and password, email, and WhatsApp open their own window on Accounts (from Today, the wizard takes you there). Then click Continue →, or I'll connect later / Skip this step →. Only an Owner or Admin can connect accounts; others see a note saying so. While the account is still being approved, connecting does not work yet. 2. Brand ("Brand basics"): Brand name (starts as your organisation's name - after a sign-up, "[First name]'s workspace"), Tone words (e.g. friendly, bold, playful) separated by commas, and Audience (e.g. small business owners). Sign-up no longer asks for a company or brand name, so this is where it is given: for an Owner or Admin, Save & continue → also renames the organisation and the workspace to it (the line under the field says so). Read my website fills the three fields from your site (Owners and Admins only; other roles do not see the website box). The step saves them as a new draft version of your brand profile, keeping everything else the current profile already has (banned words, hashtag rules, sample captions and so on); refine it later on Brand. 3. Generate ("Generate your first post"): write what the post should be about, for example "announce our summer sale, 20% off everything", and click ✨ Generate →. OmniBrand creates a content item (named after the start of your text, or "My first post") with two AI drafts. 4. Publish ("Review, then schedule or publish"): Open my post → opens it to edit the wording for each account, then publish now or pick a time. Finish later closes the wizard.

If something goes wrong

• A card shows "Couldn't load this" with Retry: the day's calendar did not load; click Retry.
• Retry on a failed post says "Could not retry": the cause is still there (often an expired account). Reconnect the account, see Expired or revoked tokens, then retry.
• The wizard does not open by itself: the workspace already has an account or content, or it was skipped. Click Set up.
• Connecting shows a note for your role: connecting accounts needs an Owner or Admin.

Good to know

• Today shows only the active workspace. Switch workspace in the header to see another brand's day.
• Skipping the wizard is remembered per workspace in this browser.
