Your account: name, language, password, notifications and your data

Your personal page: your display name, the app language, changing your password, which notifications reach you, downloading your data, and deleting the whole account.

Your account (/app/account) holds what belongs to you as a person rather than to the workspace: "Your name, the language you read this in, and the password you sign in with." Open it from the account menu (your initials, top corner), Your account. Every role can open it, Agents included.

Your name

"How you appear to your team: on assignments, notes, approvals and invitations you send." 1. Change Display name (up to 120 characters). Your login email is shown under it and cannot be changed here. 2. Click Save name (it stays disabled until the name differs from the saved one). "Name saved." The header shows the new name after the page is reloaded.

Language

"Changes what you see. Everyone else keeps their own." 1. Pick a language in the Language list. The app switches at once; Arabic (and Urdu) also turn the layout right-to-left. 2. Emails OmniBrand sends you follow this choice: in Arabic if you chose Arabic, otherwise in English. 3. The choice is saved on your login: when you log in on a browser that has no app language yet, and you did not pick a language on the website or the log-in page there, the app opens in it.

This is the app's language only; the public website keeps its own. See Choosing your language.

Password

"Changing it signs you out everywhere else. This window stays open." 1. Type your Current password. 2. Type a New password (at least 10 characters) and the same again in New password again. 3. Click Change password (it stays disabled until all three are filled, the new one has 10 characters and both match). 4. "Password changed. Other sessions are signed out." Every other browser and device where you were logged in must log in again.

Notifications

The Notifications card is a table: one row per Category, with an In-app switch (the bell and the notifications page) and an Email switch. Each switch saves the moment you click it. - Approvals: posts sent for approval, approved or rejected. - Publishing: posts published and other publishing updates. - Failures & expiring tokens: a post that failed, an account whose sign-in expired, an account that cannot receive messages. - Client reviews: feedback from people reviewing content. - Data exports: an export is ready. - Team changes: invitations and people joining. - Digests & reminders: digests and reminders that came due.

By default everything is on in-app, and only Failures & expiring tokens is on by email. Notification emails link here (to /app/account#notifications) to change these. Notifications that fit none of these categories always appear in-app and are never emailed.

Your data

"Download everything OmniBrand holds about you (profile, memberships, your activity). Contacts and inbox data belong to the workspace: an owner or admin exports them with Export workspace data in Settings." - Download my data saves a file named omnibrand-my-data.json. - The workspace's own data (contacts, conversations, content and more) is exported by an Owner or Admin with Export workspace data in Settings, General; see Your data and exports.

Delete the whole account

"Owners only. Every workspace, account, contact and message goes 30 days after the request; tax invoices are kept as the law requires. You can withdraw the request until then." 1. The card says "To confirm, type this account's identifier:" followed by the identifier (made from your workspace name at sign-up, for example layla-s-workspace; it does not change when you rename the workspace). It is also shown on Settings, Company details, as "Account identifier:". 2. Type it in Type the account identifier. Request deletion stays disabled until it matches exactly. 3. Click Request deletion. The card shows "Deletion scheduled for {date}." and every Owner of the organisation receives an email. 4. To stop it, click Cancel deletion before that date. The pending deletion and Cancel deletion appear on this page for every Owner and Admin, in any browser, until it is withdrawn or carried out.

Only the founding Owners can request it: the Owners of the organisation's first workspace (if it has none, the person who created the account, then the longest-standing Owner; see Your data, workspace deletion and account deletion). Anyone else sees "Only an owner of the account's first workspace can request this." instead of the form. Any Owner or Admin can cancel a pending deletion; other roles see the scheduled date and "Only an owner or admin can withdraw it; ask one of them to open this page."

If something goes wrong

  • "Use at least 10 characters." or "These two do not match.": fix the new password fields.
  • The current password is refused: check it, or log out and use Forgot your password? on the log-in page. Repeated wrong tries are limited for a short while.
  • "We could not load your notification preferences." Click Retry. "That change was not saved." The switch goes back to where it was; try again.
  • "Only an owner of the account can delete it": you are not one of the founding Owners.
  • "To delete the account, type its identifier ('...')": type exactly the identifier shown in the message.

Good to know

  • There is no two-factor (2FA) setting in OmniBrand today. Use a long password that you use nowhere else; changing it signs every other session out.
  • Your name and email are shown in the account menu. Change your name under Your name above; to change the email of a login, ask OmniBrand support.
  • Deleting a single workspace is done on Workspaces, not here.
