Choosing your language

The app and the public website each keep their own language; change the app's on Your account, the website's with its language menu.

OmniBrand keeps two separate language choices: - the app's language: everything after you log in (every /app screen); - the public website's language: the home page, pricing, the help centre, and the log-in, sign-up, password-reset and invitation pages.

Changing one does not change the other. Reading the website in French does not turn your open workspace French, and switching the app to Arabic does not change the website.

Step by step: the app's language

  1. Open the account menu (your initials, top corner) and choose Your account.
  2. Pick a language in Language. The app switches at once.
  3. Owners and Admins can do the same in Settings, General.

The languages offered are the ones OmniBrand has published (English, العربية and others such as Français, Español, Português, Deutsch, Türkçe, Bahasa Indonesia). Arabic and Urdu switch the whole layout to right-to-left; dates and numbers follow the language.

Step by step: the website's language

  • Use the language menu in the website's header. The Arabic website has its own addresses (for example /ar/help).
  • On the log-in, sign-up, password-reset and invitation pages, use the globe selector at the top of the form.

What happens next

  • Emails OmniBrand sends you follow your app language: Arabic if you chose Arabic, English otherwise. The language you signed up or accepted your invitation in is the starting choice.
  • The first time you open the app in a browser, it starts in the language you chose on the website or the log-in page in that browser; if you never chose one there, in the language saved on your login. After that it keeps its own.
  • Your choice is saved on your login as well as in the browser. When you log in on a new computer or phone without choosing a language on the log-in page, the app opens in your saved language; a language you then pick in that browser is kept there.
  • Adding ?lang=ar or ?lang=en to an address switches that part (app or website) to that language.

Good to know

  • Each person has their own app language; changing yours does not change your colleagues'.
  • English is the reference wording; the help centre and the in-app Help are shown in your language where a translation exists.
