Logging in and resetting your password

Log in with your email and password, pick an organisation when your email has several, and get a new password if you forgot yours.

You log in on the log-in page (/login), "Log in to OmniBrand". Log-ins belong to an organisation: the same email can have a login in more than one organisation (for example your own account and a client's), each with its own password.

One click with Google, Facebook or Microsoft

  • The buttons Continue with Google, Continue with Facebook and Continue with Microsoft above the form log you in with the account whose email address is your OmniBrand login, with no OmniBrand password: the provider confirms the address is yours. Only the providers set up on your OmniBrand are shown.
  • If that address has logins in more than one organisation, the page asks you to pick one, as in step 3 below, and logs you in without asking the provider again.
  • "No OmniBrand account uses this email address yet." with a Sign up instead link: no login has that address; the link opens sign-up.

Step by step

  1. Open the log-in page. Change its language with the globe selector at the top if you like (this is the public site's language; the app keeps its own, see Choosing your language).
  2. Enter your Email and Password and click Log in.
  3. If your email and password match logins in more than one organisation, the page asks "Your email belongs to more than one organization - pick one:". Pick the organisation (its name and identifier, such as /acme-inc, are shown) and click Log in again. The page remembers the one you picked last time.
  4. You land on Today; an Agent lands on the Inbox; an account on a paid plan that has not paid yet lands on First payment for a paid plan. If your session ended while you were working, the log-in page says "Your session has ended. Log in again to continue." and after logging in you are taken back to the page you were on.

Fields and options

  • Email: the address you signed up or accepted your invitation with.
  • Password: your OmniBrand password.
  • Advanced: specify tenant slug: opens a box for your organisation identifier (for example acme-inc) to log straight into that organisation. You rarely need it; step 3 above does the same after the password.
  • Forgot your password?: opens the reset page.
  • Create one: opens sign-up for a new account.

Resetting a forgotten password

  1. Click Forgot your password?. The page "Reset your password" opens.
  2. Enter the Email you log in with and click Send reset link. The page then says "If that email belongs to an account, a reset link is on its way. Check your inbox and spam folder." (It says the same whether or not the address exists.)
  3. Open the email and click its link within one hour.
  4. On "Choose a new password", fill in New password and Repeat the new password (at least 10 characters, and not easy to guess), then click Save new password.
  5. "Your password is changed. Log in with it now." Click Go to log in.

If you know your password and only want a new one, change it while logged in on Your account instead.

If something goes wrong

  • "Wrong email or password.": the email or password is wrong, or that login has been disabled by an administrator of the organisation. The page keeps what you typed; check for typing mistakes and the keyboard language, or reset the password.
  • "Too many sign-in attempts. Try again in 15 min." (the minutes left are shown): after 8 wrong passwords for the same email within an hour, that email is locked for 15 minutes. If it happens again, each lock lasts twice as long, up to 24 hours. Wait the time shown, or reset your password.
  • "This link is missing its token. Request a new reset link.": the link was cut when copied. Open it straight from the email, or request a new one.
  • The reset link no longer works: it is older than one hour or already used. Request a new one.
  • No reset email: check spam, and make sure you typed the address you log in with.

Good to know

  • There is no two-factor (2FA) sign-in setting in OmniBrand today; protect your account with a long password that you do not use elsewhere.
  • Changing your password on Your account signs you out on every other device.
  • Log out is in the account menu (your initials, top corner) or at the bottom of the menu drawer on a phone.
