Notifications
Choose, per category, what reaches you in the app (the bell) and what also comes by email; the choice is yours alone.
The bell at the top of the app collects what concerns you, and Notifications (/app/notifications) lists all of it. The table described here decides which categories you get in the app and which also reach you by email. The choice is personal: it changes nothing for your colleagues and it is the same in every workspace.
Where to find it
- Your account (/app/account#notifications): open the avatar at the top right, then Your account. Every role can use this, including agents.
- Settings, section Notifications (/app/settings#notifications): the same table, for owners and admins.
- The Preferences link on the Notifications page, and the unsubscribe link at the bottom of notification emails, both open it.
Step by step
- Open the table in one of the places above.
- Each row is a category. The In-app column is the bell; the Email column sends an email as well.
- Click a switch. It saves at once. If the save fails the switch goes back and "That change was not saved." appears; try again.
The categories
- Approvals: a post waits for your approval, or your post was approved or rejected.
- Publishing: a post was published.
- Failures & expiring tokens: a post failed to publish, an account's sign-in expired, or an account stopped receiving messages.
- Client reviews: a client answered a review link.
- Data exports: an export finished.
- Team changes: invitations.
- Digests & reminders: the daily digest and your follow-up reminders.
Defaults
Every category is on in the app. By email only Failures & expiring tokens is on, because a broken account is the one problem nobody notices by looking.
Good to know
- New inbox messages, assignments, notes for you, team chat messages, calls and WhatsApp broadcast progress are not in the table: they always appear in the bell and on the Notifications page, and this table does not email them.
- Emails go to the address you sign in with.
- If a category is switched on and still nothing arrives, see Notifications are not arriving.
