The Settings page: what is where
Settings holds the workspace and account options; the list on the side opens each section, and most of it is for owners and admins.
Settings (/app/settings) is where the options for the workspace you have open, and for the whole account, are kept. Open it from Settings in the Setup group of the sidebar, or from the round avatar at the top right (Account menu), then Settings.
Who can open it
- Owner and Admin see every section and can change them.
- Other roles do not see Settings in the sidebar, even if their access includes the old Settings task: every change on these pages needs the Owner or Admin role. If they open the page anyway they see the personal parts (Language, Notifications) and read-only information; the admin-only sections show "You do not have access to this".
- An Agent (inbox only) is sent back to the Inbox. Personal options for everyone, agents included, are on Your account (avatar menu, then Your account, /app/account).
The sections
On a wide screen the sections are a list on the left; on a phone they are a row of buttons you can swipe. The first seven are parts of the same page (the address ends in #notifications, #branding and so on); the rest are pages of their own. 1. General: your Language, the workspace Timezone and Currency for WhatsApp message costs, Link tracking, Plan usage, Export workspace data (owner/admin) and the API endpoint. See Workspace timezone and link tracking and Your data and exports. 2. Notifications: what reaches you in the app and by email. See Notifications. 3. Branding (owner/admin): your logo and brand colours. See Branding and scheduled reports. 4. Scheduled email reports: performance reports sent by email every week or month. Same article as Branding. 5. Evergreen recycling (owner/admin): re-scheduling your best evergreen posts. See Evergreen recycling. 6. AI providers (owner/admin): your own AI keys and which key runs first. See AI providers. 7. Developer API keys (owner/admin): keys for the public API. See Developer API keys. 8. Plan & usage (/app/settings/plan) and Billing (/app/settings/billing): your plan, payments and invoices. See Plans. 9. Company details (owner/admin, /app/settings/company): what your invoices are issued to. See Company details. 10. Integrations (owner/admin, /app/settings/integrations): outgoing webhooks to your own systems. 11. Approval chain (/app/settings/approvals): the approval steps a post must pass. See Approvals. 12. Members (/app/settings/members): who is in the workspace and what they may do. See Members and invitations. 13. Messaging rules (/app/settings/messaging): when and how often marketing may reach a person (quiet hours, the Friday pause, Ramadan, frequency caps) and your test numbers. See Messaging rules.
Plan usage and API endpoint (General)
- Plan usage shows your plan name and a bar for each limit: Posts published (this month), AI generations (this month), Social accounts, Workspaces and Members in this workspace. The bar turns amber at 80% and red at 100%; "∞" means no limit. Limits themselves are on the pricing page.
- API endpoint shows the address the app talks to. You do not need to change anything here; it is useful only when support asks for it.
Good to know
- Most settings belong to the workspace you have open. Switch workspace first (workspace selector at the top of the sidebar) if you mean to change another one.
- A few settings apply to the whole account whichever workspace is open: Branding, AI providers, Company details and your plan.
- Your own password, your language, your notification choices, downloading your data and deleting the account are on Your account (/app/account). See Your data, workspace deletion and account deletion.
