Turn off an email from the email itself

The link at the bottom of OmniBrand notification emails, digests and setup reminders turns off that one kind of email, without logging in.

Every notification email, digest and setup reminder that OmniBrand sends you ends with the link Turn off this kind of email. It turns off one kind of email, for you only, and you do not need to log in.

Step by step

  1. At the bottom of the email, click Turn off this kind of email. A page on www.omnibrand.app opens and names the switch, for example "Stop “Setup help from OmniBrand” emails from OmniBrand?".
  2. Click Turn off these emails.
  3. The page says, for example, "Done. You will not get “Setup help from OmniBrand” emails any more." In the table under Your account (/app/account#notifications), the Email switch of that one row is now off. Nothing else changes.

Turn them back on

  1. Open Your account (/app/account#notifications) and find the table Notifications.
  2. Switch the Email column of that row back on. It saves at once.

Good to know

  • Your mail app may show its own Unsubscribe button next to the sender. It does the same thing as the link.
  • If the page says "This link is not valid", the link was probably copied incompletely. Change the switch in the table instead.
  • Emails about your login, security, team invitations and billing have no such link: they always arrive.
  • Setup reminders come from OmniBrand Support (support@omnibrand.app). A reply to one reaches a person on our team.
