The language keeps changing

The public website and the signed-in app keep separate languages; the app's language is saved on your login and remembered per browser.

How languages work

  • The public website (home, pricing, help centre) has its own language, chosen with its language switcher or by the address (for example /ar/help is Arabic).
  • The signed-in app has its own language. Changing the website's language no longer changes the app, and changing the app's language does not change the website.
  • When you log in on a browser that has no app language yet, the app opens in the language you picked on the website or the log-in page in that browser, or, if you picked none there, in the language saved on your login (the one you last picked on Your account or in Settings). From then on that browser keeps its own.

Change the app's language

  1. Open the avatar at the top right, then Your account (/app/account).
  2. Pick a language under Language. It changes what you see at once; everyone else keeps their own.

Owners and admins can do the same under Settings, section General, field Language.

"It changed back" or "it is different on my other computer"

  • The app's language is remembered by the browser, and also saved on your login. On a different browser, a different computer, a private window, or after clearing the browser's site data, logging in opens the app in your saved language - unless you picked another language on the log-in page there, which that browser then keeps.
  • If a browser still shows another language, it has its own choice from earlier: pick the language again in Your account on that browser (this also updates the saved one).

Emails

Notification emails follow the language you last chose in the app, in English or Arabic.
