Bluesky and Mastodon

Both connect with credentials you create yourself; no sign-in window.

Bluesky

1. In Bluesky: Settings → Privacy and Security → App Passwords → Add App Password. Name it "OmniBrand" and copy the value (shown once). Do not use your main password.
2. In OmniBrand, as an Owner or Admin: Set up → Accounts → click Bluesky → form Connect bluesky.
3. Fill in Handle (for example you.bsky.social; the @ is optional) and App password, then click Connect account.

Publish text of up to 300 characters with up to 4 images. Replies, mentions and quotes arrive in the inbox (likes, reposts and follows do not). To cut OmniBrand off, delete the app password in Bluesky.

Mastodon

1. On your Mastodon server: Preferences → Development → New application. Name it "OmniBrand", keep the scopes read and write, submit, open the application and copy Your access token.
2. In OmniBrand: Set up → Accounts → click Mastodon → form Connect mastodon.
3. Fill in Instance URL (for example https://mastodon.social; it must start with https) and Access token, then click Connect account.

Publish text of up to 500 characters with up to 4 images or a video. Mentions and direct messages arrive in the inbox; a direct message is answered privately, never in public. The token does not expire; to cut OmniBrand off, delete the application in Mastodon.

If something goes wrong

• The connect is refused - the handle, password, address or token is wrong.
• Disconnected or Revoked after working - the app password or application was deleted. Create a new one and connect again.
